-Porsche can suck my knob, Jaguar-Land Rover is where it's at. They actually let me sit in their cars (the SVR and the F-Type are both wonderfully awesome) unlike you bastards who keep things under lock and key.
-The Buick Encore, as much as my mother wants one, seems like a crap place to be.
-On the subject of the Corvette:
Dad: "It says it starts at sixty-five."
Me: "The price, or how old you have to be to get one?"
-Both turn to look and see piles of greying men attempting to get into it
Dad: "Both."
-The blue that they use on all the Ford concepts they use is beautiful in person, and it's a shame that they don't actually offer it.
-The AMG GT is cool, but as my dad remarked, "you have to dislocate your arm to use the damn shifter".
-The E63 AMG wagon is everything I want and need in my life, price be damned
-Mazdas are nice.
-It is impossible to attempt to explain the naming system of BMWs to a fifty year old man. He just doesn't get it. And neither do I.
-The Acura booth didn't have the NSX, making them irrelevant (much like Mitsubishi).
-My heart remains broken after finding out that the Peel P50 was broken. At least they still let me in it.
Overall, the auto show was pretty fun. It just serves to remind me that there are a lot of nice things that I will never be able to afford.

Also, Old Man CB is curious as to why all show cars are in fancy bright colours, when there is no way in hell people are going to order them with them. I think he has a good point.

Original Fiestas had a very similar shade, and I like those. Kind of a throwback.

Did you go today? Did you see the NSX?? Because I went yesterday and and I somehow missed it :( literally saw everything but that car.
P50 was broke yesterday as well; didn't think of asking for a sit in the car though. Shame; track looked pretty worn.

Because if its not a fancy bright colour, then its either black, white, or grey. The G63 was probably the most extreme case; a car like that doesn't look right in fluorescent green - it doesn't even look right on the 650S.

Thats what I keep thinking too LOL posting my photos to instagram and I keep seeing the NSX pic pop up. One of the other opponauts went on Family Day and said it was there - I'm guessing someone broke it. A lot of the unguarded cars had scratches on them.

No, I love the C7 (as does my dad). It's just the stereotypical thing of a whole bunch of old guys looking at it at once was really funny. Like watching an H1 pull into a gas station (something else we saw happen today).

The NSX left after the weekend to be taken to another autoshow. It's the only production model they have right now so it's running the show circuit.

I asked one of the Acura reps about it, they told me the NSX left for another autoshow after the weekend. It's the only production model available right now so it's being hustled around everywhere.

Oh, thanks bud. I'm seeing photos of a red NSX at Chicago and it apparently arrived on Monday, so I can only assume that's what happened. Maybe next year...

We were looking at the cadillac and I was telling my brother about steve and his turbine car book. some guy then goes, "well if you turn around the turbine car is right there" and so it was. amazing!!
